Most of our clients are large-scale animal feed producers with highly specific requirements. They expect direct delivery to their sites and payment based on their own weighbridge readings. This level of precision leaves no room for anything less than consistency and quality.
We source most of our product from Pretoria Protein Company under a toll crush agreement. They process the raw beans, while we manage sales and delivery of the final products. This partnership gives us full traceability from bean to batch – one of our most valuable assets.
Pretoria Protein Company operates a rigorous quality assurance model, where Inputs and process conditions are tightly controlled to ensure consistent results. During production, hourly samples are tested in their on-site laboratory for moisture, fat, fibre, protein, urease activity, and KOH solubility. Physical checks, such as bean size and flake thickness, are also conducted regularly.
The laboratory doesn’t wait for problems to arise; it identifies trends early, enabling proactive adjustments before any specifications are breached. Every batch is tested before dispatch, and a Certificate of Conformance is issued only when all parameters meet the required standards.
